Objective: To revise couple burnout measure and to examine its reliability and validity . Methods: Couple burnout measure was administered to 800 urban married inhabitants . Results: ① Exploring factor analysis showed that there were 3 factors. ②Three factor model of couple burnout measure was supported by confirmatory factor analyses, χ2/ df=3.460, CFI=0.905, GFI=0.837, TLI=0.892, RMSEA=0.088. ③Cronbach’ s α coefficients were from 0.88 to 0.95; the spit reliability coefficients were from 0.81 to 0.92. ④The correlation between the total score of couple burnout measure and divorce intention was 0.568, and the correlations between couple burnout measure dimension scores and divorce in tention were 0.522?0.507 and 0.492. ⑤Τhere was significant difference in marriage burnout of different marriage years; the couple married 10-20 marriage years had higher level of marriage burnout. Conclusion: Couple burnout measure has good validities and reliabilities and can be used in future study .
