Objective:To explore the construct validity of nurse Job stressors, the Chinese Nurse Job Stressors Questionnaire was modified.Methods:The Chinese Nurse Job Stressors Questionnaire was modified by using open questions and consulting the other research results about nurse job stressors, then 322 nurses of a hospital in Guangzhou were investigated.Results:By exploring factor analysis, 38 items were retained as the items of the primary modification questionnaire, including 5 factors:job environment and character, personal relationship, the attitude of patients and their relatives, professional skill, the status and career development.The correlation of the total score of the Questionnaire with SAS, SDS was remarkable.The Questionnaire could differentiate the job stressors level of surgical nurses with outpatient nurses and nurses working in administration departments.The homogeneity reliability is 0.957, the test-retest reliability is 0.877 after one week.Conclusion:The primary modification of nurse job stressors questionnaire is reliable and valid for the application in nurse job stress research.
