Objective:To explore the forgiveness trajectories of university student who was committed interpersonal transgressions in 10 days, and the impact of rumination on interpersonal forgiveness. Methods:A five-wave longitudinal study were conducted among 318 university student who was committed interpersonal transgressions and Latent growth mod-eling was used to examine the growth trajectories. Results:①Victims'forgiveness increased linearly during the follow-up period. Significant variability in the initial levels and growth rate change in forgiveness over time was also found; ②Rumina-tion at each testing point reduced victims'forgiveness. Conclusion:Victims'forgiveness increased in a linear trajectory, and rumination as a time-variant variable influences victims'forgiveness trajectories.
