舞动团体对大学生身体自我概念及自尊的影响

摘要:

目的:考察舞动团体对大学生身体自我概念以及自尊的影响。方法:将招募的20名大学生随机分配到实验组和对照组。实验组接受连续8周,每周2小时的舞动团体干预,对照组不接受任何干预。使用身体自我描述问卷、自尊量表对两组成员进行前测(T1)和后测(T2),实验组还进行了追踪测量(T3),并收集每位成员的日志反馈作为质性研究资料。结果:实验组在身体自我概念五个维度以及整体自尊的变化均显著高于对照组。重复测量结果表明,实验组在身体自我概念的七个维度上有所改善。质性研究印证了量化数据的结论,表明成员在身体感知、自我接纳以及自信方面均有所提升。结论:舞动团体能够有效提高大学生的身体自我概念和自尊水平。

Objective:The present study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of Dance/Movement Therapy(DMT) group in college students. The primary research question is whether a DMT group could improve students'physical selfconcept and self-esteem. Methods:20 college students were assigned into the intervention group (10 subjects) and the con-trol group(10 subjects). The intervention group also took Physical Self-Description Questionnaire and Self-Esteem Scale be-fore and after DMT intervention with a follow-up investigation after one month. The control group students did not attend DMT group but completed the measurements at the same time as the intervention group. Results:After the 8-week inter-vention, seven dimensions of physical self-description in intervention group has been improved in intervention group; and five dimensions of physical self-description in intervention group were significantly higher than those in control group. From quantitative data, we found similar results from those of qualitative data. Besides, students in the intervention group indicated that they had more insights into their relationships because of DMT group experiencing. Conclusion:These find-ings suggest that DMT group improves physical self-concept and self-esteem in college students effectively.
