Objective: To investigate the current situation of drinking and its influencing factors in college students.Methods: By adopting stratified cluster random sampling, a total number of 907 students were recruited from a university in Changsha, Hunan province.the general situation questionnaire, the family, friends and school environment information questionnaire, the Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test(AUDIT), the drinking expectations questionnaire and BIS-11(the Barratt Impulsiveness Scale-11) questionnaire were administered to all the participants.Results: The results showed that the rate of dangerous and harmful drinking behaviors in college students is 11.2%.Through analysis of multiple factors, the causes of dangerous drinking behaviors in college students concluded:male(OR=2.855), age great than 20(OR=1.361), living expenses(per month) great than 1000 Yuan(OR=2.855), smoking(OR=3.490), mother holds neutral attitude towards drinking(OR=1.439), friends hold positive attitude(OR=2.861), neutral attitude towards drinking(OR=2.732), most friends drinking(OR=2.784), and high impulse level(OR=1.202).Conclusion: The main factors of dangerous and harmful drinking behaviors in college students are gender, age, living expenses, smoking, mother's attitude towards drinking, friends' attitudes towards drinking, friends drinking or not, impulse level.
