Objective: To investigate the correlation between atypical eating disorder and body-esteem of college stu- dents. Methods: 363 students from Zhejiang Normal University were investigated by Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26) and Body-esteem Scale for Adolescents and Adults(BE) through stratification and stochastic sampling. Results: ①Female college students were distinctively higher than males in atypical eating disorder; ②There was no obvious difference between grades and majors in atypical eating disorder of college students; ③Atypical eating disorder had obviously negative rela- tion with body-esteem in female college students, but not in male college students; ④ BE-Weight and BE-Attribution were found to be the predictor of atypical eating disorder in female college students, BE-Appearance could predict atypi- cal eating disorder in male college students. Conclusion: These findings indicate that a significant number of college stu- dents are suffering from atypical eating disorder, which are correlated with body-esteem.
