Objective To explore the sleep characteristics of patients with sleep apnea/hypopnea syndrome (SAHS).Methods Ninety adult patients with SAHS were evaluated with polysomnogram (PSG) and BMI.Results The PSG confirmed the presence of a disrupted sleep pattern in SAHS.The sleep efficiency,REM period,hypopnea index,arterial SaO2 in wakeing time and variance of heart rate were significantly different among three groups with different BMI(P＜0.05).Conclusion Different BMI may affect the sleep quality and oxygen saturation in patients with SAHS.
