Objective To determine the acceptance and effects of the 7 minute neurocognitive screening battery used in Chinese old people. Methods Three groups of subjects, the Alzheimer disease(AD) group, the normal control group, and the non-dementia neuro- or psychiatric disease group, were examined by the MMSE,FOM,the WISC-BD,WAIS-DS,the ADL and the 7 minute battery. Results Compared with normal control group and non-demential patients group, the AD group got significantly higher score in Orientation subscale and lower scores in other subscales of the 7 minute battery. The scores of MMSE、FOM、RVR、DS and BD were negatively correlated with the Orientation subtest and positively correlated with other subtests of the 7 minute battery.
