Objective:To explore the difference of coping style among junior middle school students of different family types.Methods: 87 students in single-parent families; 439 students in complete families and 46 students in association families were tested by Coping Style Scale ofMiddle School Students(CSSMSS). Results: Junior middle school students in single-parent families and association fam-i lies reported significantly higher scores on feeling ventilation and fantasy coping styles than those in complete families. Significant higher scores of tolerance coping style were found in association family students than those in complete family students. Conclusion:The coping styles of students in different families are different.
