十日内观课程对服刑人员的干预:效果、机制与本土化

摘要:

作为佛教正念禅修体系之一,十日内观课程已在很多国家和地区的监狱得到应用,其对服刑人员的心理干预效果得到了若干研究的验证。平等心、觉知力、生活智慧与德性等内容,作为该课程有别于西方正念疗法、适合服刑人员问题的特殊成分,其作用在不同程度上得到了实证研究的支持。十日内观课程在内容上的优势与实践上的局限,使得对其进行本土化以适合大陆监狱实践成为必然,包括借鉴西方正念疗法的技术与教学形式,并根据服刑人员的心理特点调整内容与教学进度等。

As a mindfulness training system rooted in Buddhism, ten-day Vipassana course has been adopted by prisons in several countries and regions, and empirical studies have proved its effectiveness of psychological intervention on prisoners. The speical elements in this training system are different from western mindfulness-based therapies, equanimity,awareness, wisdom of life and morality are extremely suitable for persons serving sentences and their effectiveness has been buttressed by empirical researches to various extent. The advantages on contents and limitations on practice of this course made localization necessary in mainland China, including combining it with the techniques and instructional modes of western mindfulness-based therapies and adjusting the contents and teaching process according to the psychological characteristic of persons serving sentences.
