The pressure and burden brought to parents by raising a child with autism have been fully explored; however, recently some researchers have changed research perspective, and made researches on the posttraumatic growth of the parents. This paper summarizes the studies of parents' posttraumatic growth and their related factors, hoping to provide directions for the intervention in nursing practice.
